The Department of Public Works appointed Cadre Plan to undertake site clearance for a new magistrate's office in Manamela, North West, under Moses Kotane Local Municipality. Portion 1 of the farm Vlakplaats No. 157 JP, on the village outskirts along the route to Makweleng, was proposed. From the ±1 500 ha farm, approximately 1 ha was recommended for subdivision, with a gross development area of about 1 419 m².
The work ran through inception and constraints analysis, a site audit with review of specialist studies, and the statutory phase covering the consolidation and subdivision applications, local authority processes, objections, hearings and the final site clearance reports. The vacant, Agricultural-zoned site slopes gently south without constraining the development.
