Cadre specialises in the affordable and social housing market. Reinier Minny graduated with a Masters in Housing Development and Management and completed various projects in this sector. 

Cadre completed a research project for the Social Housing Regulatory Authority regarding the effectiveness of the gazetted “Restructuring Zones” and investigated Johannesburg Inner City properties suitable for social housing for the Johannesburg Development Agency. Cadre concluded the research and proposals for Temporary/Transitional Emergency Accommodation for the City of Johannesburg with emphasis on the Johannesburg Social Housing Company mandate.

Affordable housing projects were also completed in Diepsloot and Kwa-Thema.
