The majority of partners have a degree in town and regional planning.

The company is well resourced with eleven senior planning partners (with more than 20 years’ experience each).

The planners complement each other, each specialising in a different aspect:

  • Project and programme management

  • Strategic planning

  • Metropolitan Planning

  • Statutory planning

  • Precinct planning and design

  • Property economics and valuations

  • Local government corporate planning

  • Socio-economic studies

  • Integrated development planning

  • Development facilitation

  • Housing development

  • Site Acquisition

In terms of statutory planning the majority of the work is undertaken in Gauteng, but assignments in Bokono-Bophirima (North-west), Limpopo and Mpumalanga have also been completed. Jolien Janse van Rensburg leads the work in Tshwane, while Beth Heydenrych leads the work in Joburg. Other areas are dealt with on a project-by-project basis.

In terms of strategic planning the team is lead by Dr Johnny Coetzee (metropolitan and regional planning); Jacques van der Merwe act as the bridge between master planning and precinct planning and Annemarie Loots specialises in precinct planning.

In terms of property economics and property valuation the team is lead by Corli Groeneveld, while Karen Minny and Kestell Serfontein specialise in property development facilitation.

Reinier Minny provides leadership in terms of local government planning and project management and Zama Essien is a town and regional planner specialising in site acquisition.
